Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the kitchen team day-to-day.
  • Oversee food preparation, cooking and presentation to a high standard.
  • Plan and develop menus with consistency and creativity.
  • Maintain strict food hygiene and safety standards.
  • Manage stock, ordering and food cost control.
  • Organise staff rotas and delegate tasks efficiently.
  • Train and develop kitchen staff.
  • Work with management on events, specials and promotions.
  • Ensure smooth service and strong coordination between kitchen and front of house.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Head Chef or senior kitchen leader.
  • Strong background in high-volume or fast-paced kitchens.
  • Solid understanding of food safety and hygiene regulations.
  • Experience in menu planning and kitchen operations.
  • Leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team.
  • Strong organisation and ability to handle pressure.
  • Good communication across teams.
